June 2026

  • Slack messages now extract in real time

    Jun 1

Once your workspace is connected and the events webhook is on, tasks from Slack @-mentions and DMs land within seconds instead of waiting for the next polling cycle. Same dedupe + cost-cap protection as the polling path; same telemetry; identical downstream behavior.

  • Slack Events API webhook + OG images on every page

    Jun 1

Taska can now receive Slack messages in near-real-time once your workspace points api.slack.com at our webhook. Bonus: every public page now has a custom social-share image — sharing a /vs/* or /changelog link will render a branded preview.

  • Public RSS feed for the changelog

    Jun 1

Subscribe to /changelog/feed.xml in your favorite RSS reader to get notified the moment something ships. Same content as this page, in RSS 2.0 format.

  • Five competitor comparison pages

    Jun 1

Honest, feature-by-feature comparisons vs Motion, Sunsama, Reclaim, Cal.com, and Todoist. We call out where each competitor wins — no marketing-team garbage. See /vs/motion to start.

May 2026

  • Public status page + changelog

    May 31

A live status page at /status and this changelog at /changelog. Both no-auth, indexed, refreshable any time — transparency without a support ticket.

  • Hardened against prompt injection in extraction

    May 31

Email content is now wrapped in XML tags before being sent to the AI; the system prompt explicitly treats it as untrusted data. Also redacts PII (emails, phone numbers, SSN-shaped patterns) from logs.

  • Toast notifications + source provenance on task cards

    May 31

Transient confirmation toasts when you create / accept / decline. Every task extracted from email or a meeting now shows "Extracted from <sender>" right under the title.

  • First-day playbook + sample-data previews

    May 31

New accounts see a six-item activation checklist on Today. Empty Stats / Activity / Bookings pages now show labeled examples instead of generic empty states — you see what a feature does before you have data.

  • Bookings is a first-class destination

    May 31

New /bookings page in the sidebar — pending requests at the top, history underneath. Settings keeps the link config. Today shows a small "your booking link" nudge below the task list.

  • Mobile parity: Stats, Bookings, Activity

    May 31

All three pages now have full mobile screens — calibration tile, source mix, time-of-day heatmap, pending booking requests, sample previews. Same data, native components.

  • Typography refresh — all-Geist

    May 31

Dropped the serif display face for a single modern sans (Geist) across web + mobile. Display feel comes from size + weight + tracking, not a font switch. One fewer font request per page; cleaner overall.

  • Sidebar sticky to the viewport

    May 31

The left rail (and your sign-out button) now stays pinned while the main page scrolls. Long Settings tabs and long Activity feeds no longer hide the user footer.

  • Chat as a floating drawer

    May 31

Ask Ally lives in a floating drawer (⌘J) reachable from any page, not a dedicated route. Conversational mode is a peek, not a destination.

  • Stats v4 — time saved, carry-over, source mix, time-of-day

    May 31

Four new sections on Stats: how much time the AI deflected this month, how much rolls over yesterday → today, where your tasks come from, and when you actually get them done.

  • Settings tabs across the top

    May 30

Settings was a long scroll. Now it's six tabs (Account / Connections / Briefs & schedule / Notifications / Team / Data & privacy), URL-state driven so deep-links work.

  • Estimate calibration loop

    May 29

Log how long a task actually took after you finish it. After five samples, Stats shows whether you run over or under predicted estimates — and by how much.

  • Evening wrap-up + voice morning brief

    May 28

A 30-second audio rundown of your day at the start of the morning. At day's end, an evening summary of what you finished and what rolled over.

  • Calendly-style booking link

    May 25

Share one URL; people pick a slot from your free windows. Requests land on Today as they come in. Accept lands them on your calendar.
